Solaire

The Solaire is a waist-length jacket built from full-grain, natural vegetable-tanned cowhide. It is lined in 100% cotton twill throughout the body in a muted sage green.

The collar is a rounded stand style, drawing from mid-century campus jackets—structured but low-profile. The front features curved Western-style slash pockets and custom solid zinc donut buttons with a double-prong design.

Construction is finished with French seams. The back is built from a two-piece vertical panel joined by a double-stitched French seam, topped with a Western-style scalloped yoke.

Additional features include button-tab cuff closures, side buckle adjusters with brass hardware, and a reinforced waistband with clean topstitching along the hem.

The leather is natural and unsealed; it will darken naturally with wear, developing a patina unique to the wearer over time.

Each jacket is designed in Toronto and built in our own dedicated workshop in Pakistan. We oversee every step — from pattern drafting to leather selection to final inspection. Every jacket is individually photographed, measured, and quality-checked before leaving the shop. We produce in small batches using full-grain leathers, custom hardware, and offer complimentary custom sizing on all builds.

Exterior:

• Natural Veg-Tan Cowhide: Full-grain leather that darkens and patinas with wear.
• Structured Chest Seam: Widened seam creates a soft collar roll when unbuttoned.
• Angled Chest Pockets: Forward-slant flap pockets with sharp, geometric lines.
• Western Back Yoke: Clean, scalloped yoke detail across the shoulders.
• Three-Panel Back: Simplified rear construction with no pleats or bulk.
• Cotton Twill Lining: Sage green 100% cotton lining for comfort and breathability.

Interior:

• Two Inside Pockets: One open pocket, one zippered for secure storage.

Hardware:

• Custom Zinc Donut Buttons: Solid zinc, double-prong hardware with an antique finish.
• Side Adjusters: Button tabs at the hem for fit adjustment.
