The Convoy Waxed Canvas (WC) takes our signature trucker silhouette and reimagines it in a heavyweight 19 oz waxed cotton canvas. Finished with a specialized paraffin and beeswax treatment, the fabric develops unique highs, lows, creasing, and texture through everyday wear. Inspired by the way great leather jackets evolve over time, the Convoy WC is designed to develop character with use, ensuring no two jackets age exactly alike.
Materials & Construction:
Crafted from 100% cotton canvas and reactive dyed for rich, lasting color, the fabric begins at approximately 17 oz before undergoing a specialized finishing process that brings the final weight to approximately 19 oz. A paraffin and beeswax treatment enhances texture, durability, and character while maintaining a more natural hand than heavily saturated oil-finish canvases. The body is lined in 100% cotton twill, while the sleeves feature a smooth poly twill lining for easy layering. Custom solid zinc double-prong donut buttons provide a secure closure.
Design Details:
The Convoy WC features a refined trucker silhouette with subtle western influences throughout. Two western-inspired chest flap pockets feature tone-on-tone embroidery, while a widened upper chest seam creates a natural collar flare when worn open. The rear is finished with a western-scalloped yoke and a clean three-panel construction that prioritizes structure and simplicity. Adjustable side tabs allow the waist to be tailored to preference, while two interior storage pockets; one open and one zippered to provide everyday practicality.
Aging & Character:
The Convoy WC is built to evolve with its owner. The canvas naturally responds to wear, movement, sunlight, and environmental exposure, gradually developing a unique appearance through creasing, tonal variation, and texture. The lighter paraffin and beeswax finish offers character and flexibility rather than heavy waterproof protection, allowing the fabric to soften and break in naturally over time. Owners who prefer a heavier waxed finish may choose to apply additional wax treatments as the jacket ages.
Each jacket is designed in Toronto and built in our own dedicated workshop in Pakistan. We oversee every step from pattern drafting to leather selection to final inspection. Every jacket is individually photographed, measured, and quality-checked before leaving the shop. We produce in small batches using quality materials, custom hardware, and offer complimentary custom sizing on all builds.
