We’re proud to offer custom sizing at no additional charge.
There are conditions with respect to this offer. Items on sale are not eligible for custom sizing. If you require custom sizing on a sale piece, you will be charged the full retail price for the piece.
In this case please inquire via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
It is also imperative that you understand that with a custom size, that we are unable to offer returns or exchanges as we do with our stock sizes; this is non-negotiable.
If you’d like to request a custom size on a regular priced item, you can enter your chest, bottom, sleeve length measurements (in centimetres) in the text box at checkout. We’ll follow up with an email if we have any questions.
Given that a custom piece is a final sale, it is very important that you use caution and are precise when taking measurements; it’s always best that you consult with us first via e-mail.
In order to obtain your measurements we’ve attached a measurement diagram for your reference. This diagram corresponds directly to our size chart listed on the website.
We ask that you provide your measurements in centimetres to avoid deviation with conversions. Also keep in mind, that with a handmade garment that the exterior measurements may deviate +/- 1cm.
It is important that you use a rope or sewing tape as opposed to a metal retractable constriction measuring tape.
As noted, the sizing diagram directly corresponds to our size chart (i.e. chest, sleeve length, bottom). In order to create a custom piece, we ask that you provide your chest measurement (measure under your arms, all the way around the largest part of your chest), arm length (shoulder seam to wrist) and bottom (hips) or largest portion of your midsection (measure all the way around the largest portion of your midsection).
Please note that the measurements that you provide will correspond to the jackets exterior measurements.
If you’re using your actual body measurements (not measuring over top of an article of clothing), please add an additional 4cm to the chest and bottom when selecting your size in order to accommodate for the jacket lining (2cm) as well as light layer of clothing. If you want to wear heavier layers, add a few additional cm beyond the standard 4cm increase (4-6cm). If you’re measuring your chest and bottom over an article of clothing we suggest adding a minimum of 2-4cm in order to account for the interior liner, and to allow for some comfort.
If you have any questions along the way, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can email us at email@example.com and you’ll receive a response within 24hrs.
In the event that you would like to request a design modification to an existing piece it is important that your consult with us prior to your purchase.
We are able to make small design alterations and/or borrow different leathers or treatments from existing pieces in the collection. There is a $50 USD fee that will be applied, and as with a custom size there are conditions with respect to this offer. Items on sale are not eligible for design modifications. If you are seeking a modification on a sale piece, you will be charged the full retail price for the piece, plus the $50 USD fee.
Any design modifications must be requested prior to the purchase and the request must be made via email.
Once the design modification is approved, you will be e-mailed a payable invoice in order to complete the transaction.
