The MSC Morrison reintroduces one of our most understated silhouettes through a heavier, more substantial interpretation built entirely from 1.3 mm full vegetable-tanned natural cowhide.
Positioned somewhere between a leather jacket and a traditional western overshirt, the Morrison was designed as a versatile layering piece that carries the structure and longevity of a jacket while remaining lighter and more relaxed in wear. The unlined construction allows the leather itself to take center stage, developing character, movement, and patina unique to each wearer over time.
The exterior features a refined western-inspired layout with curved triple-stitched front yokes, a single-point rear yoke, and low-profile chest pockets finished with custom scalloped flaps. Solid brass snap closures are used throughout, including dual-position adjustable cuffs for a cleaner and more tailored fit at the wrist.
Internally, the Morrison is finished with black 100% cotton twill piping and a reinforced collar insert for added structure and durability while maintaining the flexibility and comfort of an unlined garment.
Cut from our full vegetable-tanned natural cowhide, the Morrison will gradually deepen in tone and develop a rich, lived-in character through regular wear, sun exposure, and natural aging. Creasing, darkening, and tonal variation are all part of the intended evolution of the leather.
Leather Note:
This jacket is made from full-grain, undyed vegetable-tanned cowhide. Due to the natural and minimally finished nature of the leather, tonal variation, visible grain, and small surface marks are expected and not considered defects.
Natural veg tan leather is highly porous and reactive. Avoid heavy oil-based conditioners and prolonged/direct UV exposure intended to accelerate darkening or patina, as this can cause uneven darkening, excessive softening, blotching, or odour development.
If exposed to significant moisture, oxidation from metal hardware may transfer to the leather, particularly around rivets and snaps with an antique finish. If the jacket becomes wet, lay it flat to dry in a cool, ventilated space. Do not apply direct heat or hang while damp.
Each jacket is designed in Toronto and built in our own dedicated workshop in Pakistan. We oversee every step from pattern drafting to leather selection to final inspection. Every jacket is individually photographed, measured, and quality-checked before leaving the shop. We produce in small batches using full-grain leathers, custom hardware, and offer complimentary custom sizing on all builds.
